Cowlick

Reach Out!

Bio:
Cowlick is a queer folk pop project in Seattle, WA that began in 2010 when Jane was snubbed by a banjo store owner who said she couldn’t play music. She returned later that night and stenciled “Have A Cup of Humilitea” at his doorstep. Heart racing she returned home, learned a couple chords and wrote the song "A is for Anarchy". Common themes running through her songs are mortality, friendship, intimacy, struggle, alienation, environmental destruction, mental health, and power.
